Tom Burgess is an award-winning comedian and voice actor based in Manchester, and the creator of comedy character Peter Fleming (★★★★ ‘A comic love letter to a lost world of Reithian values’ Stewart Lee).

As Peter, he won Best Debut Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2018. He has also appeared as various characters on TV in Saturday Mash-Up and Blue Peter (CBBC), and on audio in Icklewick FM (BBC Radio 4), Newsjack (BBC Radio 4 Extra), Gein’s Family Giftshop Present… (BBC Radio Wales) and the Beef and Dairy Network.

You may also know him from his work with Sam Nicoresti, either their rambunctious double act Sam & Tom (Finalists – Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off! 2018), or their defunct and decrepit sketch group Staple/face (So You Think That’s Funny? Best New Sketch Act 2013).

This year, Burgess is appearing in Icklewick FM series 2, and will be bringing Peter Fleming’s Dismally Ill-Prepared TV Pub Quiz to a venue near you. He remains available to appear in your radio comedy programme, TV series, live reading of a seminal BBC sci-fi drama, or cult TV-related podcast.
